Biography
Bri Gagné is a writer, artist, and content developer with a background in writing, education, and media. They completed their bachelor’s degree in English Literature with minors in Film Studies and Gender Studies (University of Connecticut, 2016) and a master’s degree in Elementary Education (Eastern Connecticut State University, 2019).
Bri taught English in Stuttgart, Germany, and Connecticut before joining Goodwin University and University of Bridgeport as a full-time writer and content developer. The Educational Advertising Awards recognized five articles they wrote for the universities, placing in the E-Publication and DEI categories and earning Gold, Silver, and Bronze prizes. They previously wrote for Glitter Magazine (2020) and edited and self-published two zines: The Pink Circuit (2017) and Anonyme (2023-24).
Bri is currently pursuing their Master of Fine Arts in Popular Fiction Writing and Publishing at Emerson College. Influenced by British modernism and folk horror, their work explores social dichotomies, trauma, and spiritual crises.
